On January 31, 2025, we attended Boston University’s Engineering for Women’s Health (Eng4WH) Symposium for the second consecutive year, and it was nothing short of inspiring. The event featured remarkable talks from leading scientists, as well as engaging policy and industry panels, creating a powerful platform to explore advancements in women’s health.

Our very own Dr. Juan Gnecco delivered an insightful presentation highlighting the diverse and innovative research underway in the Gnecco Lab. Both Lizzie Marr and Mar Alonso also showcased their work through poster presentations; honors that included Mar receiving the Poster Session Award (along with a well-earned gift card!).

We’re incredibly thankful to the organizers at Boston University for bringing together such a vibrant and collaborative community. We’re already counting down to next year’s Eng4WH Symposium, and hope to host it at Tufts, led by our own PhD students Gianna and Reagan. Stay tuned!
